Meet Dr. Emmanuel Majachani

Get to know the specialist behind our care.
Dr. Majachani is a Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with over 25 years of private practice experience in Johannesburg, offering comprehensive women’s healthcare — from high-risk pregnancy management and antenatal care to gynaecological surgery, fertility assessment, and menopause management.

He holds an MBChB from the University of Zimbabwe and is a Fellow of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of South Africa (FCOG SA), with additional specialist training in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound and advanced laparoscopic suturing.

At Dr Majachani Inc, every patient is treated with the same commitment to evidence-based care and genuine attention, because “where excellence is personal” isn’t just our motto, it’s how we practice.

In light of World Breastfeeding Week, I just wanted to give a shout out to Genesis, first of all for the incredible ante natal classes that we attended, the knowledge we got from that was absolutely enlightening in all aspects of my birth and our journey after, I honestly cannot express how much it prepared us.
But most of all, I was so blessed last year to be gifted from you, with a Medela Lactina along with those classes and I can say without a doubt it’s been game changing, being able to return to work, knowing that my little one is getting her mothers milk while I’m away and still be able to keep my supply super steady and come home and nurse my baby myself has been a blessing and dream come true.

Although we were not able to give birth in your facilities because our little one came before your finalisation did, we were blessed enough to have Sister Lindsay lead our unmatched care of excellence. We so look forward to welcoming the next one with both our midwife and here at Genesis.
