💜 Celebrating Women in Healthcare & Women’s Health 🩺

This Women’s Month, FoMSF, SurgSoc and PhysSoc came together for an evening of conversation, reflection, and inspiration, bringing women’s health and the experiences of women in healthcare to the forefront.

We were honoured to hear from an incredible panel of women who each brought their own experiences and perspectives to the discussion:

✨ Dr Patricia Saffy, Head of Emergency Medicine at Helen Joseph Hospital
✨ Dr Anisah Mamoojee, Anaesthesiologist
✨ Sister Hajira Nabee, Women’s Health Nurse
✨ Celeste Louw, General Manager of The Tears Foundation

From navigating healthcare to advocating for women and leading change, the evening highlighted the many different ways women continue to shape healthcare and their communities.

A huge thank you to our panelists for sharing their stories, experiences, and insights with us, and to everyone who joined us and contributed to making the evening so meaningful. 💜

Thank you to everyone who also brought sanitary pads to support women in our community. 🩷
