An Evening of Fine W**e, Food & Music at Pinelands Grove 🍷🧀

Residents at Ruby Living’s Pinelands Grove recently gathered for a wonderful Cheese & W**e Evening, an occasion dedicated purely to enjoying good food, beautiful music and even better company.

The evening began with a suitably “cheesy” address from the Chairman of the Residents’ Committee, setting the tone for a relaxed and entertaining night.

Our catering team showed off their creativity with beautiful floral-inspired creations featuring cream cheese dips, almost too impressive to eat!

Adding to the atmosphere, Conner and Garreth treated residents to a live performance on violin and flute, providing the perfect soundtrack as everyone relaxed over w**e, delicious food and conversation.

No agenda. No formalities. Just an evening to enjoy the company of friends and the pleasure of living in a vibrant community.

Good food. Fine w**e. Beautiful music. Great company. That’s life at Pinelands Grove. 🍷🎻

Knitting Together for a Meaningful Cause 🧶❤️

Over the past two weeks, residents at Mulbarton Manor have been putting their needles to work for something very special.

In partnership with the Nelson Mandela 67 Blankets Foundation, residents came together for our knitting sessions, contributing their time, creativity and care towards an initiative that helps bring warmth to those who need it most.

Beyond the knitting itself, these gatherings were a wonderful opportunity to spend time together, share stories and enjoy the simple pleasure of creating something with purpose.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who picked up their needles and got involved. Every stitch counts, and together, small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference.

*Christmas in July – A Celebration to Remember*

Our annual *Christmas in July* celebration once again brought the magic of the festive season to Ruby Living — and this year's event was our biggest and busiest yet.

Residents gathered for a morning filled with festive cheer, delicious food, thoughtfully prepared goodie bags, exciting lucky draw prizes, and plenty of laughter shared with friends. The atmosphere was one of joy, celebration, and togetherness, with more residents than ever choosing to join the festivities rather than enjoying a takeaway at home.

Events like these are a wonderful reminder that community is at the heart of life at Ruby Living. They create opportunities to connect, celebrate special moments, and make lasting memories with neighbours who have become friends.

Back by Popular Demand!

Our Mother's Day flower arranging event was such a wonderful success that we simply had to do it again.

Residents, family members, and even some enthusiastic grandchildren gathered for another morning of creativity, colour, and connection as they created beautiful floral arrangements together. The event once again filled our community with laughter, conversation, and the joy that comes from sharing special moments across generations.

The stunning arrangements now brighten our communal spaces, bringing warmth and beauty to everyday life while serving as a reminder of the wonderful memories created together.

At Ruby Living, some activities are simply too special for just one occasion. When an event brings so much joy, friendship, and community spirit, it's worth doing again.
