A trigger is a part of you that is not aligned with you, you are not at peace with, a shadow self you are resisting or protecting.
How to walk through them?
Sit with it, become the observer and become curious.
It is not about the outside occurence but what it set in motion internally.
It is not: Oh that person is making me angry..
Becoming the observer is: " I am feelinge anger, interesting! Where is it coming from ? Why am I feeling anger? Is it fleeting? Is it deeply rooted? Do I feel disrespected? Not seen? Inferior? What is this anger trying to defend or hide? Who's is it? .....
Become curious, with kindness and gentleness. Explore it. Don't judge it, don't wish it away - walk through it. Seek to understand it.
A trigger is always a gatekeeper.
