🧪➗🔬 MATHS & SCIENCE WEEK ACROSS ALDEIA SOUTH AFRICA! 🔬➗🧪

Last week, our Aldeia campuses across South Africa celebrated Maths and Science Week with plenty of curiosity, creativity and hands-on learning. 💡✨

From problem-solving and experiments to fun activities that encouraged our learners to ask questions, test ideas and think differently, it was a wonderful reminder that learning comes alive when children are given the opportunity to explore. 🌱

We loved seeing each campus put its own personality into the week while sharing the same excitement for discovery.

Here’s to raising curious minds, confident problem-solvers and children who are never afraid to ask, “What if?” 💙

🌸💜 A BEAUTIFUL MORNING OF CONNECTION 💜🌸

This morning, Aldeia Noordheuwel had the privilege of being invited to share in a very special Women’s Day event hosted by Nuwe Hoop Gemeente.

With the beautiful theme, “Blomme in God se tuin,” the morning was a reminder that every woman carries her own story, her own strengths and her own unique place in the lives of those around her. 🌷

We are so grateful to have been included in such a meaningful morning filled with fellowship, encouragement and celebration.

🧠💜 WHAT’S HAPPENING INSIDE ME?

The years between childhood and adolescence can bring a LOT of change — and sometimes children don’t quite understand why they suddenly feel different.

Between ages 10–12, they may notice changes in their bodies, emotions, thoughts, friendships and need for independence. 🌱

They may feel happy one moment and overwhelmed the next. They might become more aware of what others think, want more privacy, or start asking questions they never asked before.

One of the most important messages we can give them is:

💛 You are still you.

Growing up isn’t something to fear or rush through. Children need safe adults who make space for questions, big feelings and sometimes even a little confusion.

Let’s help them understand what is happening, rather than leaving them to figure it out alone. 💙

Progress doesn’t always look like moving faster.

Sometimes it looks like needing a little less help than you did yesterday. 🌱

It might be trying again after something felt difficult. Managing something that once felt overwhelming. Finding the words to ask for what you need. Or taking one small step more independently.

We can become so focused on the finish line that we forget to notice how much growth is happening along the way. 💛

This Monday, celebrate the little victories too.

Same potential. Different paths. Brighter possibilities. 🌈

Our Aldeia Gauteng learners and team stepped out in their funkiest, brightest and craziest socks to support Funky Socks Day! 🌈🧦

It’s always special when something simple and fun gives us an opportunity to teach our children about kindness, giving back and supporting others. 💙

⚔️🛡️🪖 Putting on the Armour of God! ✝️💙

Bible Study at Aldeia Noordheuwel was all about learning how we can protect ourselves with the Armour of God.

Our learners explored what it means to stand strong with the Belt of Truth, Breastplate of Righteousness, Shoes of Peace, Shield of Faith, Helmet of Salvation and Sword of the Spirit. 🛡️✨

More than just a lesson and some beautiful colouring, it was a reminder to our children to be strong, choose what is right, have faith and know that they are never alone. 💙
