One of the biggest myths in weight loss is that progress should be steady from start to finish.
FYI-It won’t be.
As your body changes, your energy needs change too. Your body also naturally adapts to weight loss, becoming more efficient over time. That doesn’t mean your metabolism is “broken” or that you’ve suddenly stopped doing things correctly.
A plateau isn’t a sign to:
❌ Slash your calories
❌ Skip meals
❌ Give up because “it’s not working”
Instead, it’s an opportunity to check in with your habits.
The goal isn’t to avoid plateaus.
The goal is to understand them, and then respond with knowledge instead of frustration.
💡 Your Metabolic Takeaway: A plateau isn’t the end of your progress. It’s often the beginning of a smarter approach.
