MPH’S NEW HOSPITAL BOARD GETS TENURE UNDERWAY

Today marked the official commencement of the 2026–2029 term of the Mahikeng Provincial Hospital Board. The newly appointed Board Members held their inaugural meeting with Acting CEO Ms Motlalepule Maikepa and hospital management, where they were introduced to the hospital's operations, background and strategic priorities.

We are excited to welcome the Board and look forward to the valuable expertise, insights and leadership they will bring as we work together to strengthen our services for our community.

We wish them a successful and impactful tenure.

PASEKA YO O MOLEMO MPHers🙏🏾

Mahikeng Provincial Hospital hosted its annual Easter prayer service this afternoon, with the recreational hall packed to capacity as executive management, staff across various units and members of the hospital community gathered in unity.

Attendees came together to reflect on the Seven Words of Easter powerfully delivered by our in-house preachers and those from different churches in and around Mahikeng. The service was both uplifting and deeply meaningful, offering a moment of spiritual reflection, worship and togetherness.

Beyond its significance as a religious gathering, the prayer service stood as a powerful reminder of faith and healing, as prayers were offered for the well-being of staff, patients and the broader hospital community during the Easter period.

WATER DISRUPTION NOTICE 💧🚨

The Mahikeng Local Municipality is currently conducting emergency repairs to a burst pipe in Golf View. As a result, Mahikeng Provincial Hospital is experiencing water supply shortage.

Affected Areas:
Golf View |Riviera Park |Danville | Mahikeng Provincial Hospital | Chinese Gardens

The municipality has committed to fully replenishing water in due course. The Fire Department is currently on site at the hospital, providing water support during this period.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding.

KIDNEY HEALTH TAKES CENTRE STAGE AS MPH HOSTS WORLD KIDNEY DAY CAMPAIGN

With the global eyes set on World Kidney Day, our hospital’s Renal Unit joined in and commemorated this colossal celebration with an awareness campaign at the OPD entrance.

Staff engaged patients, visitors and the hospital community on the importance of kidney health. Through educational talks, the team shared information on how to take care of the kidneys, the warning signs of kidney disease and the importance of early detection and treatment.

The initiative encouraged everyone to prioritise their kidney health and make informed lifestyle choices.
