SANCA Lowveld held an awareness campaign at EJ Singwane Secondary School to address drug and alcohol abuse, as well as gangsterism, as major career limitations affecting many young people in South Africa.

This campaign aimed to equip young people with effective coping mechanisms, encourage positive decision-making, and raise awareness about the support available to them.

A big thank you to the learners for their positive response, and to the school leadership for the urgency and dedication they showed in addressing substance abuse and gangsterism.

As SANCA Lowveld, we want to extend a massive thank you to the City of Mbombela for hosting their recent 4-Day Employee Wellness Seminar.

Creating a dedicated space to address the work and life pressures that so often lead to mental health challenges and substance over-consumption is a crucial step toward a healthier workforce. It was a privilege for our team to facilitate sessions focused on healthy coping mechanisms, addiction prevention, and lifestyle management.

Thank you to the organisers, administration teams, and leadership at the City of Mbombela for prioritising employee well-being and making this collaboration possible.

It was an honour to speak at Day 1 of the Employee Wellness Seminar hosted by the City of Mbombela.

​At SANCA Lowveld, we recognise how workplace stress and everyday life pressures can sometimes lead to alcohol overconsumption. Creating open, supportive spaces to address this is vital for holistic employee wellbeing.
