The Nelspruit Hospice is a non-profit organisation which provides quality home-based palliative care to people with life-threatening illnesses. We have Professional Nurses, who are palliative care-trained and who provide physical, psycho-social and spiritual support regardless of race, disease, religion or socio-economic situation. Palliative Care as defined by the World Health Organisation is: An

approach that improves the quality of life of patients and their families facing problems associated with life-threatening illnesses, through the prevention and relief of suffering, the early identification and impeccable assessment and treatment of pain and other problems, physical, psycho-social and spiritual. "Big Hearts, Big Drives, and Big Savings! 💖 For our 'Celebrating the 80s' Nelspruit Annual Golf Day on Aug 14th at Mbombela Golf Club, we are thrilled to announce we only have SIX more Tee Boxes left for sponsorship (R2 500 each)!

With rising fuel costs making home visits more difficult, every single rand counts. By sponsoring a Tee Box, you're not just getting great exposure; you're directly helping us cover the increased cost of care for patients whose own funds are scarce. We've managed to avoid pass-through increases so far on our already tight budget, but we need you to tee off for Nelspruit Hospice! Let's fill the course with 80s energy and local support. The monthly at Nelspruit Hospice will take place on Wednesday, 5 August from 10-12 in the Hospice garden. physiotherapists will address the . No fees, donations are welcome. We will serve tea and coffee - you are welcome to bring a plate of eats to share.

This , we were reminded that kindness has a beautiful ripple effect. ❤️

Thanks to the generosity of and their food donation, one of our patients received a much-needed food parcel. What touched our hearts even more was hearing that the recipient immediately shared part of it with a neighbour in need and another member of their household.

That is the true spirit of – receiving with gratitude and giving with generosity.

To our friends at , thank you for helping us bring hope, dignity and practical support to families facing difficult circumstances. Your generosity reaches far beyond a single home and creates a chain of compassion within our community.

The panel will consist of political analyst Prof Piet Croucamp, Linda Grimbeek, CEO of the Kruger Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism and Oupa Pilane, Special Attaché for Tourism Development and Transformation in Mpumalanga.
