💙 Behind every Comrades finisher is a team of people who helped make that finish possible.

On 14 June, physiotherapists and physiotherapy students from across South Africa will dedicate their time, expertise, energy, and enthusiasm to support athletes taking on the Ultimate Human Race.

Through skilled hands and compassionate hearts, they will provide massage, strapping, stretching, assessment, encouragement, and care to runners who may be battling fatigue, discomfort, doubt, and the limits of their endurance.
At critical moments along the route and at the finish, your support may be the difference between giving up and taking the next step forward.

Thank you to every physiotherapist and student volunteer who will be serving the running community on race day. Your contribution reflects the very best of our profession—compassion, service, expertise, and humanity in action.

🏃‍♂️🎉 What an amazing weekend at the WOBSA Athletic Club Marathon in Thohoyandou! We were honored to provide physiotherapy support to all the runners, thanks to the generous Leuko Sports, Leukoplast South Africa sponsorship for all the strapping needs🩹. A special shoutout to Botthms SA for their incredible gesture of gifting a massage gun to the inspiring 82-year-old runner who completed the 21km race!👏

It's moments like these that highlight the spirit and community of the event. Congratulations to all the participants for your dedication and achievements! 💪
