And it deserves a little more credit. 🤎

Your skin barrier is your first line of defence against the outside world, helping protect against environmental stressors while limiting excessive water loss.
When that barrier isn't happy, your skin may start telling you — dryness, tightness, sensitivity or irritation can all be signs that something needs attention.

And this is where I often say: don't immediately add more.
Sometimes your skin doesn't need another active ingredient. Sometimes it needs you to support the barrier first. 🌿

Cold Plasma sounds rather futuristic, doesn’t it? 😉

In simple terms, cold atmospheric plasma is an ionised gas generated at or near room temperature. This allows it to interact with living tissue without the high temperatures we normally associate with thermal plasma.

Research in dermatology has explored its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and tissue-supporting effects, with applications being studied across areas such as wound healing and certain skin conditions.

It’s a fascinating meeting point between science, technology and skin — and one I’m very excited about. 🌿

How much you apply, whether you're covering all exposed areas, reapplication and daily consistency all influence the protection you're actually getting.

And yes, sunscreen belongs in your routine on ordinary days too. 😉
