Learning karate isn’t just about kicks and punches. It’s also about respect, discipline, and the language of the dojo.

Here are 7 words every student should know:
1. *Dojo* - The training hall
2. *Sensei* - The teacher
3. *Rei* - Bow to show respect
4. *Yoi* - Ready position
5. *Hajime* - Begin / Start
6. *Yame* - Stop
7. *Kiai* - A strong spirit shout
