Watch this space because I've got something awesome in the works!
I'm putting together a Spring Reset Package that will be the ideal way for you to take the first step in your health and fitness journey. I understand that suddenly committing to working out and eating clean can be a bit of a shock to the system, which is why this package focuses on gently changing your diet. That's it.

If we can start by building healthy eating habits for Spring, you'll feel the difference and with a personalised nutrition plan, and four weeks of guidance and accountability assistance, it will be easier than going it alone.

Follow along to see when this limited time only package drops.

Many people eat when they’re stressed or emotional. It's common for people to reach for a snack when they’re emotional. Trying to figure out if you’re stress-eating or actually hungry can be difficult if emotional eating has become the default.

Signs that you’re experiencing true hunger are not cravings or physical urges; true hunger manifests as a growling, empty feeling or sore tummy, lightheadedness, feeling cranky or angry, low energy, lack of focus or clarity, or a sudden slump.

Paying attention to your body and eating slowly and mindfully will help you notice true hunger and fullness.

Your weight is so much more than just a number on a scale.

Often, people will get sad when the number on the scale increases, but there's no way of knowing if we're talking about fat or muscle mass.
How much of your body is fat, muscle, water, or bone?
With an InBody scan, you can see exactly what your body is composed of.

Whatever your health and fitness goals, an InBody scan is the ideal way to see where you're starting and track your progress.
If you're trying to lose fat and gain muscle, I can help with an InBody scan.
Stop guessing, get the facts.

Committing to an hour-long workout might seem daunting. Life is busy, and often time is a rare commodity.
It is much easier to find 10 free minutes a few times a day than it is to find a whole free hour.

I’ve come up with an exercise menu where you can put a few of these movements together, each for a minute at a time, to build a workout that works for you.
Hope this helps!

Did you know?
Cold weather dulls your thirst response by 40%! Add in our dry winter weather and heaters, and everything is a lot drier than we might realise.
You need to stay hydrated in winter even if you’re not overly thirsty. Try to maintain your normal water intake to ensure you’re staying hydrated during winter.

❄️ Winter is here… but your health doesn't have to go into hibernation!
As the temperatures drop, it's easy to feel less motivated to exercise, reach for comfort foods and forget about getting enough rest. The good news is that staying healthy doesn't have to be complicated.

This winter, focus on three simple habits:
🚶 Move – Keep your body active, even if it's just a daily walk.
🥗 Nourish – Choose wholesome, balanced meals that fuel your body and support your immune system.
💙 Restore – Prioritise quality sleep, recovery and time to recharge.

Small, consistent changes can make a remarkable difference to your energy, strength and overall wellbeing.
I've shared practical tips and easy strategies in my latest blog to help you feel your best this winter.

Hiya, Claudia here with the answers to some of my frequently asked questions!

❓What would you suggest for people looking to stick to a fitness regimen?
You must find your why, and when you find that reason to gym, it becomes easier. For some, it’s so that they can be healthier for their kids, and for others, it’s when they are diagnosed with high cholesterol or diabetes and realise they need to make a change.
Also, find something that you love doing. I tried for many years to go to the gym, but was not consistent until I found CrossFit, which I love.

❓What’s the most overrated health food?
Hmm, that’s a tough one; I would have to say coconut oil.
It’s marketed as a fat-burning, heart-healthy superfood, but it’s 90% saturated fat, even higher than butter. Research doesn’t support most of the big claims around metabolism boosts or weight loss. It can raise LDL (bad) cholesterol in many people, like me.

❓What’s the most underrated health food?
I would say beans- people think they’re “boring,” “cheap,” or “carby,” but they’re actually a nutritional powerhouse. Packed with plant protein, high in fibre and minerals.
Definitely worth a look!

Many of us fall victim to the idea that recovery time isn’t needed or that rest is somehow “lazy”. This is most certainly not the case. Recovery time is necessary to enhance your performance in the gym and in life. We cannot push our bodies to the limit constantly; we can either choose to rest appropriately, or our bodies will do it for us.

These are signs your body needs rest:
✅Ongoing soreness and pain
✅Mental fog
✅Persistent fatigue
✅Frequent illness
✅Decreased stamina
✅Mood swings
✅Sleep disruption

Remember to make time for recovery. Your body needs to rest, and listening to your body is important for optimal performance.

Strength training is essential to prevent a myriad of age-related issues. Strength training can assist in building bone density, improving mood regulation, increasing muscle mass, and boosting metabolism.

Start by perfecting bodyweight exercises to learn proper form and prevent injury.

As a beginner, you want to start with 2 to 3 days of strength training per week.
This will allow your muscles to work up to the strength needed to include weights.
Aim for 3 sets of 8 to 10 repetitions per exercise and work your way up.

This is something you can start on your own, but relying on a trainer who has experience will be even better.

Choosing the RITE trainer for your intro to strength training is easy when you choose me!
