Pelvic floor physiotherapy is not just a local practice preference- it is internationally recognised, evidece-based and follows guidelines for practice.

Leading international organisations ( International Continence Society, American Urologica Association, the European Urology Association and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists ) recommends pelvic floor physiotherapy as initial conservative management for pelvic floor dysfunction.

Change begins with the patient: active participation of individualised patient specific exercises and lifestyle adjustments is what drives lasting improvements.

Contact your local pelvic floor physiotherapist for an individual assessment and treatment.

Pelvic pain is often visceral — and this matters.

Visceral pain:
• is diffuse and harder to localise
• overlaps across organ systems
• is strongly linked to autonomic function

This differs from musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain.

Clinical frameworks must reflect these differences.

If you've ever wondered about one of these (or something else), then this topic is for you:
* What is the 4th trimester?
* What is normal development and when should I be worried?
* Should I be concerned if my circle is comparing my baby's development to others?
* What can I do to stimulate my little one at home?
* When can I get back to exercising/ running again?
* Why do I leak urine after having a baby when I cough/ sneeze/ laugh?
* What is diastasis recti and how do I know if I have it
* Will s*x always hurt after having babies?
* Im experiencing mood swings: should I be worried?

Our speakers for the morning will be:
