Perhaps it’s time for a little reintroduction. ✨

My work has changed so much over the years, and I wanted to share more about the journey that brought me here and what I now offer in this space.

To those who have grown and changed alongside me, thank you. And to those who are new here, welcome.

Swipe through to learn a little more about me and the work I feel so grateful to do.

When something triggers the heart, our first instinct may be to go straight into the story.

Why did this happen?

What does it mean?

What should I say or do?

But when the nervous system is activated, trying to think our way through the emotion can sometimes make us feel even more overwhelmed.

Begin with the body.

Notice your breath. Allow your exhale to become a little slower and longer. Move gently, go for a walk or stretch the area where you feel yourself holding the emotion.

The intention is not to push the feeling away.

It is to help your body become settled enough for you to safely make space for what is there.

Once you feel more present, you can gently ask yourself:

What am I feeling?

Where do I feel it in my body?

What has this situation touched within me?

What do I need right now?

Each time you pause, breathe, move and meet the emotion with awareness, you give an old pattern a different way to process.

Over time, you may begin to recognise the trigger sooner. The emotion may become easier to sit with, and you may find that you have more choice in how you respond.

This is how we begin to work with what the heart is holding, one gentle moment at a time. 🤍

If any breathing practice makes you feel dizzy, panicked or uncomfortable, return to your normal breath and focus on something around you instead.

A little something to support the heart at home 🌿

Healing doesn’t only happen while you’re lying on my table or immersed in a sound session. So much of the work happens afterwards — in the quiet moments when you begin noticing what your heart is holding, what is ready to be released, and what you would like to invite back in.

These beautiful Heart Aura Mists & Heart Healer Anointing Oils from Magical Gem are some of the little tools I keep in my healing space for clients who feel drawn to continue supporting themselves at home.

Both are created with a beautiful blend of rose geranium, jasmine, sandalwood, vetiver, frankincense and cedarwood, with the intention of supporting the heart space through times of emotional heaviness, grief, release, self-love, softness and opening.

The Heart Aura Mist can become a beautiful little ritual. Mist it around your body, close your eyes, take a few slow breaths and consciously bring yourself back to your heart.

The Heart Healer Anointing Oil can be gently applied over the heart space, wrists or temples while setting an intention of your own — perhaps for peace, release, self-love, healing or being open to receiving love again.

I love these little rituals because they create a moment to stop, breathe, feel and listen to what is happening within you.

Especially with all the heart work I’ve been sharing lately, it felt like the perfect time to show you some of the beautiful tools that are already part of my space. 🌿

Available from me at my healing space.

We often think of the heart as the place where we hold love—but it can also be where we carry some of our deepest wounds. 🌿

Grief, rejection, betrayal, disappointment and the fear of being hurt again can quietly shape the way we respond, connect and protect ourselves.

A trigger is not always something to push away. Sometimes it is an invitation to gently look inward and notice what may still need our care.

Through Reiki and sound healing, I create a safe and carefully held space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself and begin listening to what your heart and body may be trying to show you.

The healing is yours, but you do not have to walk the path alone.

If you feel ready, I’m here. ✨

I’m really excited to share that I’ll be co-hosting The Mantra Retreat — Returning to Self this September. ✨

This is a small and intentionally intimate overnight retreat created for those who feel ready to go a little deeper.

Together, we’ll be weaving Reiki, sound, gentle movement, nature, ritual, creativity, nervous-system support and a guided plant medicine journey into a carefully held space for you to slow down, turn inward and reconnect with yourself.

For me, an important part of this work is not simply what comes up during an experience, but how safely and gently we are able to meet it.

Our intention is therefore to create a safe, supportive container where you are not expected to force, fix or push through anything. There will be space to rest, process, regulate, integrate and simply be — while being supported throughout the journey.

Sometimes when we create enough safety and stillness, we begin to notice the patterns, emotions and beliefs we have been carrying for much longer than we realised. This retreat is an invitation to meet those parts of yourself with curiosity rather than judgement, and perhaps create space for something different.

There are only six places, allowing us to keep the experience personal and carefully supported.

26–27 September 2026
Approximately 2 hours from Cape Town
R3,500 all inclusive

Bookings are by application so that we can make sure the retreat, the timing and the individual feel aligned with the experience we are creating.

If something in you feels drawn to this, DM me privately. You don’t need to know yet whether you want to join — you’re welcome to ask questions and find out more first. ✨

You do not have to wait until everything feels too much before giving yourself support. 🤍

Reiki creates a quiet space for you to slow down, rest and reconnect with yourself. It supports your nervous system in settling, while helping you become more aware of the emotions, patterns or areas of tension you may be carrying.

This journey takes time, which is why regular sessions can be so supportive. Each session gives us another opportunity to notice what is coming up and gently work with it, without needing to force the process.

I am offering 15% off a journey of four Reiki sessions for anyone who feels ready to begin or would like more consistent support.

You can have a look through my recent posts for more information about nervous-system regulation, triggers, intuition and learning to receive support. You are also welcome to contact me directly if you have any questions or would like to know whether Reiki may be right for you.

If you are ready, I’m here to support you. ✨

The four sessions are to be used within four weeks. My usual booking and cancellation policies apply.

Sometimes slowing down can feel like more effort than simply carrying on.

I understand this because I notice it in myself too.

There are moments when I know I need rest or support, but my first instinct is to stay busy, put it off or convince myself that I do not have the time.

I have also noticed that, at the beginning of a sound session, becoming still and allowing myself to receive can sometimes feel like effort. My mind may remain busy, my body may feel restless and a part of me may want to get up and do something.

This does not mean that the session is not working or that we are doing anything wrong.

Sometimes our nervous system has simply become so familiar with doing, coping and staying alert that slowing down does not immediately feel natural.

Flight may keep us moving.

Freeze may make everything feel too difficult.

Fawn may encourage us to make space for everyone except ourselves.

These are not faults. They are protective patterns that we can begin to notice with compassion.

The beautiful thing is that we do not need to force ourselves into relaxation. We can gently allow the body to settle in its own time.

With each breath, each sound and each moment of stillness, we are offering the body a different experience:

“I do not need to do anything right now.”

“I am allowed to rest.”

“I am allowed to receive.”

Making time for support does not take away from everything else you need to do. It can help create more capacity for you to return to your life feeling present, grounded and better able to meet what is in front of you.

And if receiving support feels difficult at first, that is welcome too.

We can meet that part of you with gentleness. 🤍

We often speak about “trusting your intuition,” but it can be difficult to hear that quiet inner voice when your nervous system is constantly trying to protect you.

When your body is in fight, flight, freeze or fawn, your attention naturally moves towards possible danger. You may overthink, anticipate the worst, shut down, people-please or feel an urgency to make the discomfort disappear.

In those moments, fear and intuition can feel very similar.

Your intuition has not left you. It may simply be difficult to access beneath the noise of an activated nervous system.

This is why settling the body comes first.

Through grounding, breath, movement, awareness and learning to recognise your own triggers, you begin to create enough inner space to hear what your body is truly communicating.

Reiki and sound healing can support this process by creating space for your body to soften, your energy to settle and your awareness to return inward. They can help you become familiar with what calm and balance feel like—so that when something activates you outside the session, you are more able to recognise it and use the tools that bring you back to yourself.

The aim is not to avoid every trigger.

It is to notice when you have been triggered, understand what is happening within you and respond with awareness rather than from fear.

This is the journey I walk with you:

Helping you understand your patterns, reconnect with your body, strengthen your boundaries and learn to trust your own inner guidance again. 🤍
