The fellowship recognises his contribution to internal medicine and physician leadership in South Africa, including his role as President of the Faculty of Consulting Physicians of South Africa.
Dr Wasserfall also contributed to the international academic programme, presenting on Advancing Internal Medicine Through AI: Global Insights on Clinical Practice and Education.
