According to WHO guidance:
👶 Under 2 years: no sedentary screen time
🧒 Ages 2 to 5: less than 1 hour a day
👉Over 5 years: limit sedentary time, particularly recreational screen time, and encourage regular physical activity

That can leave more time for the things growing minds and bodies need most: sleep, active play, talking, connecting and imaginative play.

But let’s be honest… which screen-time rule is hardest to stick to at home?
A. No screens at mealtimes
B. No screens before bed
C. Keeping to the daily limit
D. Keeping my own phone away

The Netcare Faculty of Emergency and Critical Care (FECC) is accepting applications for its 2027 undergraduate programmes:

🚑 Higher Certificate in Emergency Medical Care (1 year). Qualify as an Emergency Care Assistant (ECA) and become part of the frontline emergency medical services team.

🚑 Diploma in Emergency Medical Care (2 years). Qualify as an Advanced Life Support Paramedic, equipped to provide advanced emergency care in critical medical and trauma situations.

📍Both programmes are offered at our Midrand (Gauteng) and Durban North (KwaZulu-Natal) campuses.
