Target the fat that diet and exercise can't. πŸ’‰βœ¨ . . .
Not all fat deposits respond to a healthy lifestyle. Many of us have small, stubborn pockets of fat that are largely determined by genetics and hormones. These areas can be frustrating because they often remain despite regular exercise and balanced nutrition.πŸ™ŒπŸ½

Injection Lipolysis is a non-surgical treatment designed to target these localised fat deposits.🀍

Using a carefully formulated combination of Phosphatidylcholine and Deoxycholate, the solution is injected directly into the treatment area.

Deoxycholate works by breaking down the membranes of fat cells, allowing the body to naturally metabolise and eliminate the released fat over the following weeks. Once these fat cells are removed, they rarely regenerate, making the results long-lasting when supported by a stable weight and healthy lifestyle.

This treatment is ideal for small, well-defined areas such as:
✨ Double chin (submental fat)
✨ Jowls
✨ Bra bulges
✨ Abdomen
✨ Upper arms
✨ Other small, stubborn fat pockets

It’s important to note that this treatment is not a weight-loss solution or an alternative to liposuction. Instead, it's best suited for refining and contouring areas that don't seem to budge.

Most patients require 2-6 sessions, depending on the size of the area and the desired outcome. Mild swelling, tenderness and bruising are expected after treatment - this is a normal part of the fat breakdown process and usually settles within a few days.πŸ’•

A thorough consultation is essential to determine whether you're a suitable candidate, discuss realistic expectations, and create a personalised treatment plan.

Ready to contour with confidence? I’d love to help.πŸ’‰πŸ’‰

Many people have no symptoms at all until blood sugar has been elevated for some time. That's why screening matters.

Watch for symptoms like:
πŸ’“Increased thirst
πŸ’“Frequent urination

πŸ’“Slow-healing wounds
πŸ’“Recurrent infections

You may be at higher risk if you:

β€’ Have high blood pressure or high cholesterol
β€’ Had gestational diabetes
β€’ Are physically inactive
β€’ Are over 35

Vaginal Prolapse: Let’s Talk About It 🌸
…
Many women experience symptoms of vaginal prolapse, yet feel too embarrassed to talk about it. The truth is, prolapse is common - but it is not something you should ignore or simply learn to live with.

You may notice:
🌸 A feeling of heaviness or pressure
🌸 A bulge or sensation of something β€œcoming down”
🌸 Bladder leakage or difficulty emptying your bladder
🌸 Constipation or bowel changes
🌸 Discomfort during in*******se

While childbirth, menopause, chronic coughing, heavy lifting and constipation can increase the risk, prolapse can affect women of all ages.πŸ™ŒπŸ½

Most importantly: there is nothing to be ashamed of and help is available. Early assessment can also make a significant difference to your comfort, confidence and quality of life.

I’m here for you 🌸

Yet uncontrolled blood pressure remains one of the leading risk factors for heart attacks and strokes. The tricky part? High blood pressure often has no symptoms at all, which is why it's often called the "silent killer."

Many people feel completely well while their blood pressure is quietly putting strain on their heart, brain, kidneys and blood vessels.

When last did you have your blood pressure checked?

If you're over 40, have a family history of high blood pressure, are carrying a little extra weight, living with stress, or simply haven't checked it in a while, it may be time to know your numbers.

Do you have a blood pressure machine at home? If not, pop in and let us check it for you. A quick reading could tell you a lot about your health and may help prevent serious complications down the line.

But it actually takes a much, much closer look at your skin.

Got moles? Not sure what you're looking for? Or perhaps you've had one for years and feel like it's time for a check-up?

One of the easiest ways to monitor your skin is the β€œUgly Duckling" rule. πŸ¦†

Most of your moles tend to look fairly similar. If one mole stands out, looks different from the rest, or simply catches your attention as the odd one out, it's worth having it checked.

Keep an eye out for:
▫️ A new mole appearing in adulthood
▫️ Changes in size, shape, or colour
▫️ Itching, bleeding, or crusting
▫️ Anything that just doesn't look quite right

The good news? When detected early, most skin cancers are highly treatable. πŸ™ŒπŸ½

If you have a mole that's been bothering you, or you'd simply like some peace of mind, book a consultation and I'll take it from there. 🀍

There’s a wonderful intersection between medicine, science and faith when it comes to fingerprints and the human hand.

Did you know that fingerprints begin forming in utero at around 10-16 weeks gestation? The ridges are influenced by genetics, pressure, movement, blood flow and microscopic environmental factors inside the womb. Even identical twins do not share the same fingerprints.

Scientifically, that level of individuality is astonishing.

What’s even more remarkable is that fingerprints are not simply β€œpatterns on skin.” They are highly specialized friction ridges designed to improve grip, sensation and fine motor control. The hand itself is one of the most sophisticated anatomical structures in the human body - a combination of nerves, tendons, muscles, blood supply and sensory receptors working in extraordinary precision.

And yet, despite modern medicine, advanced imaging, microsurgery, genetics and artificial intelligence, we still cannot fully recreate a living human hand with all of its sensitivity, adaptability and healing capacity. We can repair, we can transplant, we e can prosthetically mimic.

But true creation remains beyond us.
As a Christian doctor, there’s humility in that. The more medicine advances, the more we realize how much we still do not understand. Science often reveals complexity faster than it provides answers. What appears β€œsimple” biologically is usually profoundly intricate under a microscope.

Book of Job 37:7 says:
β€œHe seals up the hand of every man, that all men may know His work.”
This can be interpreted poetically or spiritually, either way, there is something profoundly moving about the fact that every human hand carries a unique imprint - no two ever identical across billions of people.

Medicine teaches us precision, but faith teaches us humility.
And perhaps one of the greatest lessons of both is this: the deeper we study creation, the harder it becomes to believe it is ordinary.πŸ’•

You deserve to feel well againπŸ’ͺ🏽

Something I’ve noticed is how many people have learnt to function while feeling completely exhausted.

Not just tired after a long week - but running on empty for months!πŸ€•
οΏ½The headaches, irritability, poor sleep, brain fog, anxiety, constant illness, low mood and relying on caffeine just to get through the day have somehow become β€œnormal”.

As a family doctor, one of the most important things I try to remind patients is that feeling unwell doesn’t always have to look dramatic. Sometimes it looks like simply not feeling like yourself anymore.

Iron deficiency, burnout, hormone imbalances, stress, poor sleep, vitamin deficiencies, depression, chronic inflammation and even dehydration often present quietly at first.

We live in a culture that praises pushing through, but your health was never meant to live in survival mode.

Sometimes the most important thing you can do is stop ignoring the symptoms you’ve normalised and start asking why they’re there in the first place 🀍

I’m here to guide you back to feeling like yourself again 🀍
