As the name implies, iron deficiency anaemia is due to insufficient iron. Without enough iron, your body can't produce enough of a substance in red blood cells(haemaglobin) that enables them to carry oxygen . As a result, iron deficiency anaemia may leave you tired and short of breath. Initially, iron deficiency anaemia can be so mild that it goes unnoticed. But as the body becomes more deficient in iron and anaemia worsens, the signs and symptoms intensity.

Your thyroid gland is a small, butterfly shaped organ which is located in the front of the neck Your thyroid produces hormones that play a role in many different systems throughout the body. Hypothyroidism occurs when your body produces too little thyroid hormone.
Hypothyroidism may not cause noticeable symptoms in its early stages. However if left untreated it can lead to other health issues such as high cholesterol and heart disease.
Disorders of the thyroid gland are more prevelant in women. Hypothyroidism is diagnosed by a blood test and is corrected by oral replacement of thyroid hormones.
