“ukuPhila ebantwini."
Before the establishment of the clinic, there was a Word. During one of my quiet moments with the Lord, he said: “Yisa ukuPhila ebantwini."
The word Phila means life to live, to recover, to flourish, to be restored.
Over the years, I have sat with people carrying the weight of grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, rejection, loss, and emotional pain. Time and again, I have witnessed that healing is possible. With the right support, people can find their footing again. They can rediscover hope
They can learn to live again
That is the heart behind Phila Mental Health Clinic.
Our mission is to provide a safe, compassionate, and professional space where healing can begin, resilience can be strengthened, and lives can be restored.
