To every volunteer who got up at sparrows, every family member and friend who stood cheering from the sidelines, and every person who worked tirelessly behind the scenes — this event would not have been possible without you.*

From registration to the start line, from our finish-line crew to our marshals, water-table teams, photographers, setup and breakdown crews, and everyone who helped make the magic happen — we see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful for you.

Meet Dr Inge Raubenheimer, now consulting at Intercare George.

Dr Raubenheimer graduated from Stellenbosch University and holds a postgraduate qualification in HIV/TB management. Her clinical interests include children's health, sports medicine, minor procedures and infectious diseases.

She believes in creating a welcoming environment where patients can speak openly about their concerns, ask questions and receive health information they can understand.

After 19 years of dentistry in Europe, Dr Jannes Fourie is back in South Africa and joining the dental team at Intercare Castle Gate.

A University of Pretoria graduate, Dr Jannes Fourie achieved a distinction in Prosthetic Dentistry before building a career in private practice in South Africa and the Netherlands.

His experience includes conservative and reconstructive dentistry, with a particular interest in crown and bridgework. But what has remained constant throughout his career is his patient-centred philosophy: treating patients with the same consideration he would expect himself.
