The Nelson Mandela International Day was planned and eventually came to success. Stakeholders had expectations of a well structured day. Nelson Mandela International Day.
Leratong Hospice is dedicated to putting Atteridgeville and neighbouring communities first. The community spent the day with the individuals in care in the hospice, children and the church. It was a success as the aim of putting a smile each individual was accomplished by the effort made. The community made sure to leave food and necessary parcels for the community or stakeholders who had attended the events.
The youth of the surrounding areas such Atteridgeville, Lotus Gardens, Laudium, Haartebees etcetera reported back how manageable the quantity of individuals that has attended was. For them having a small or intimidate number of individuals simply allowed them to give away items and ensure that everyone has received something in their hand.
The International visitors and investors were humbled to experience different stakeholders to be interacting with various level or the organization. The Cuban ambassador to South Africa, HE Enrique Orta Gonzàlez also reported that the Nelson Mandela National Day was splendid for them. He also proceeded to state how genuine the relationship between Cuban and South Africa is. Hence, They saw it necessary to travel all the way to our country to attend the event and spend the day with the people of Leratong Hospice.
As there was thorough anticipation of the day. The organization placed forth the safety of the stakeholders. The South African Police Services were summoned to ensure a safe security. They delivered a good service. Their service was that it was a great collaboration. There were no actions to harm or those that seemed as unsafe. This altogether has been a proper sum of departments working together to ultimately deliver a good work.
The community people loved it. Families that have people under the Leratong facility showed great gratitude.
