Is your baby ready for solids… or are you just watching the calendar? 👶🥣
Starting solids is an exciting milestone, but there’s no magic date that works for every baby. While many babies are ready around 4–6 months, readiness signs and developmental progress are just as important as age.
Look for signs such as: ✨ Good head and neck control
✨ Sitting with support
✨ Showing interest in food
✨ Being able to bring objects to their mouth
✨ Having good growth and development
For babies born prematurely, corrected age should also be considered.
Remember: every baby develops at their own pace. 💙 The goal isn’t to rush the first spoonful—it’s to make sure your little one is ready, supported and comfortable as they begin this exciting new stage.
Save this post for when your little one gets closer to starting solids! 🥑🫐
