What is Neuro-Impulse Protocol?

NIP is a neurological approach and is orientated to influencing how the nervous system controls the body. Joints and muscles are coordinated by the nervous system, this represents a deeper and more profound way to influence the body.

How does Neuro Impulse protocol (NIP) work?
The basis of NIP is having a very thorough and precise assessment protocol that can analyse the body is several ways, use the findings of the protocol to identify the exact structures involved, and having the ability to accurately post-check after the adjustment (the treatment). It is important that we can objectively measure dysfunction, perform the treatment, and immediately re-check the body and measure the changes. This is vital because we want to be able to see objective changes in the body, not just rely on the subjective changes like levels of pain. When we see improvements that are measurable, we can be sure you are on the right track and can expect the pain and discomfort to improve too.
The main functions that we test for and measure are the movement quality of the joints, the quality of the muscle function, and some neurological tests such as reflexes, how the eyes track, and some postural related outcomes. For instance are the legs balanced and equal, or is one leg longer than the other? Is the pelvis level on both sides, is one shoulder higher than the other, and is the head straight, or does it tilt to one side or protrude forward? These all tell us important information that we can measure and recheck after the treatment
How does Neuro-Impulse Protocol (NIP) work?
NIP starts with a thorough and precise assessment of how your body is functioning. The assessment looks at different areas of the body to identify where there may be changes or imbalances affecting movement and function.
We look at things such as:
• Joint movement – how well your joints are moving
• Muscle function – how well your muscles are working
• Neurological responses – including certain reflexes and eye movements
• Posture and balance – how your body is aligned and balanced
For example, I may check whether your legs are balanced, whether your pelvis is level, whether one shoulder is higher than the other, or whether your head is tilted or positioned forward.
Once the assessment is complete, the findings help guide the NIP adjustment. The adjustment is gentle and precise, based on what I have found during the assessment.
One of the unique aspects of NIP is that I can re-check the body immediately after the adjustment. This allows me to see whether there have been measurable changes in movement, muscle function, reflexes or posture.
This means we don't rely only on how you feel or on your level of pain.
The aim is to help the body function more efficiently and support better communication between the brain and the body. As the body responds, this may help with pain, discomfort and other symptoms.

Why we don't only treat the painful area
It is common to think that the problem is always where you feel the pain. But the body is connected, and sometimes the source of the problem can be somewhere else.
For example, a restriction in the pelvis can affect how the hips, lower back, shoulders, neck and head move and function. This can create compensations throughout the body.
NIP helps me assess these patterns and identify where the main problem may be, rather than simply treating the area that hurts.
Precision is key
NIP uses a gentle and precise approach. After the adjustment, I can immediately re-check the body to see if there have been changes in movement, muscle function and posture.
The goal is not simply to treat the painful area, but to help the body function and move as well as possible.
The body can change step by step
Sometimes there is more than one pattern affecting the body. Once one area improves, our assessment may show us another area that needs attention.
It is a little like peeling an onion, layer by layer.
By addressing these patterns step by step, the aim is to improve movement, balance and overall function, helping your body move more freely and comfortably.
