When we think of constipation, we usually think of a child who simply isnโ€™t pooing often enough ๐Ÿ’ฉ

But constipation can show up in other ways too.

Hard or painful poos, very large stools, tummy pain, withholding behaviours, stool accidents or even changes in bladder habits can all be worth paying attention to.

And because bladder and bowel function are closely connected, constipation can sometimes contribute to urinary symptoms too.

If pooing has become painful, stressful or a constant battle in your household, itโ€™s worth asking for help. ๐ŸŒฑ

๐ŸŒ June is Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) Awareness Month.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse affects millions of women and can occur when weakened pelvic floor muscles and connective tissues allow pelvic organs, such as the bladder, uterus, or re**um, to bulge into the va**na.

Awareness is key. Understanding prevention, recognizing symptoms early, and exploring treatment options can make a meaningful difference. While some risk factors, including genetics, cannot be changed, healthy lifestyle choices may help reduce the risk of POP and support symptom management.

June is Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) Awareness Month. ๐Ÿ’™

Pelvic Organ Prolapse occurs when weakened pelvic floor muscles and connective tissues allow pelvic organs to bulge into the va**na. Factors such as childbirth trauma, genetic predisposition, chronic constipation, and persistent coughing can contribute to the condition.

Awareness, prevention, and early care matter. While not all risk factors can be prevented, healthy lifestyle choices may help reduce risk and support symptom management.

Together, we can help increase understanding of POP and support womenโ€™s pelvic health worldwide.

PCOS is being renamed โ€” and itโ€™s a BIGGER DEAL than many people realise.

For years, women living with PCOS often felt frustrated by the name itself. ๐Ÿ˜”

The new name โ€” PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome) โ€” aims to better reflect the full picture of the condition.

While the transition will happen gradually over the next few years, many experts hope this change will improve awareness, diagnosis and treatment for women worldwide. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป
