o hand crafted basic skincare products during the 1800’s. We use all pure essential oils, high quality cold pressure plants oils, and almost 100% natural bases. We are free from Parabens, Petrochemicals, Sulphates, Phthalates, Formaldehydes, Synthetic preservatives, Silicones, Talc, Genetically modified ingredients, animal by- products and Mineral oils. Our 3 ranges products, more than 150 single product, comply to our natural/organic eco friendly protocol and we are the only South African company to be accredited with the Cruelty Free “Leaping Bunny” international USA/UK organization and NatureWatch UK. Certified Organic, non Certified Organic and Natural ingredients are used. We are registered member of “CTFA”, “Chamber of Commerce” and “Proudly South African”.

A message from The Victorian Garden's owner💜:

Yesterday, VG’s founder, Lindsay, sent me a long and heartfelt message.

She told me that she sees how I have travelled back and forth between South Africa and China over the years, while caring for my team, overseeing production, raising three children, and helping VG grow step by step.

She often calls me her “daughter.” To me, she and Brian are not only the founders of VG, but also the original heart and roots of the brand.

When I took over VG in 2020, I was not simply taking over a skincare company. It felt more like receiving from their hands a fragrant garden that had already been lovingly cultivated for more than thirty years.

The founders have never left the spiritual world of VG. They continue to witness, recognise and support this new chapter of the brand. From Lindsay to me, VG has always been cared for and carried forward.

My role is not to reinvent VG, but to protect what has always made it precious, and to help it continue growing in new soil.

To be understood, trusted and encouraged by the founder has been one of the most precious sources of strength throughout my journey.

Some wise words from the owner of The Victorian Garden 💛

This is her - arms and tummy out! - proudly holding our Fennel & Rosemary Body Massage Oil. And when we asked her what keeps her feeling toned and confident, her answer was refreshingly honest: there's no secret and no shortcut. Just three habits she's lived by for years.

She eats well - balanced, real food, without punishing herself over the occasional treat.

She keeps moving - nothing extreme, just consistent, daily movement.

And she massages - a few minutes every day with our Fennel & Rosemary oil. For her, it's more than skincare. The fennel and rosemary help firm and tone the skin, but it's also become her daily ritual of self-care - a small, quiet moment that belongs only to her.
