We craft unique skin, body and hair care products using traditional vintage 100% natural and organic recipes and ingredients popular in Victorian times. Lindsay Salthouse, a qualified and experienced Beauty Therapist/ Aromatherapist/Phytotherapist, founded the company in 1991 and dedicated it to her great grandmother, Lady Frances Glover-Anderson, a Victorian Aristocratic Lady, also a herbalist who hand crafted basic skincare products during the 1800’s. We use all pure essential oils, high quality cold pressure plants oils, and almost 100% natural bases. We are free from Parabens, Petrochemicals, Sulphates, Phthalates, Formaldehydes, Synthetic preservatives, Silicones, Talc, Genetically modified ingredients, animal by- products and Mineral oils. Our 3 ranges products, more than 150 single product, comply to our natural/organic eco friendly protocol and we are the only South African company to be accredited with the Cruelty Free “Leaping Bunny” international USA/UK organization and NatureWatch UK. Certified Organic, non Certified Organic and Natural ingredients are used. We are registered member of “CTFA”, “Chamber of Commerce” and “Proudly South African”.
