Towards a Regulated World is an advanced CPD workshop that integrates Polyvagal Theory, neuroscience, ecosystemic psychology, and equine-assisted healing. This is not an introductory workshop. It is designed to equip you to actually do this work, and to connect you with a community of like-minded professionals who speak the same language.

On Thursday 16 July 2026, Hestie and I had the honour of hosting eight caregivers from Stellenbosch's local community at The Siloah Project.

It was a special day of connection and unfolding healing, as we explored the wisdom of the body - the wisdom that guides us and keeps us alive - learning from the true experts: our horses.

Held in the mist, with Stellenbosch's mountains as our backdrop, warmed by fire and togetherness, this group came ready to learn how to care for themselves, so they can go back out and care for others.

Grateful for these caregivers, for the horses who teach us so much, and for this work we get to do together.

Elandskloof is that place I return to, time and time again, to find myself. Every time I come back, I discover another deeper layer waiting to be uncovered.

Held by majestic mountains, the gentle spirit of the horses, the safety of beautiful humans, and wrapped beneath a blanket of stars, I am reminded that if I belong to a universe this breathtaking, there must also be something beautiful at my core. Beneath all the lies the world told me - that I am not enough, not worthy - I remember the beautiful, perfect spot of grace I was born into.

We have one spot remaining for our 13–16 August Equine Therapy Retreat and four spots available for our 24–27 September retreat.

It is an absolute honour to co-facilitate these retreats, creating a space where hearts connect, healing unfolds, and people remember who they have been all along.

All of the spots for our Care for the Carers open workshop have been filled, and Hestie and I are so deeply grateful for this opportunity to meet the precious hearts behind those giving so much love to the vulnerable.

I've been given the honour of returning to co-facilitate the equine therapy experiences at Karoo Ranching - with the wonderful Julie Hobson, her miracle-working herd, and the vast, breathtaking mountains of the Karoo holding it all.
August. September. A handful of spots.
