40+?

We’ve launched bril.lees, our new premium collection of acetate reading glasses, inspired by aspirational creatives from the world of books, writing and ideas.
Each frame comes complete with premium lenses and is available in plano, +1.00, +1.50, +2.00, +2.50 and +3.00. Anti-reflective, easy-clean and blue light filtering coatings are included as standard, at no extra cost.
But here’s what makes bril.lees a little different.
Visit any Bril branch and we can take your individual PD and height measurements and custom-make the lenses to your reading prescription, ensuring the optical centre sits exactly where it should. There is no extra charge for this service.
One simple price. Premium acetate frame. Premium lenses included.
Available online now and coming to Bril stores shortly.

Hello Bloemfontein 💛

We are officially open!

And as always, we need a few guinea pigs. The first 100, to be exact.

So, the first 100 people who book an eye test at our new bril space in Bloemfontein will get their eye test completely FREE. And we’ll give you a little card for free eye tests for life.

What’s the catch?

We want honest feedback. The good, the bad, all of it.

Service and experience are really important to us, and with every new bril space we want to make sure we get it right.

Bookings are open on our website, or just send us a WhatsApp 💛

Mirror mirror on the roof,
Looking for something that rhymes with oef.

Anyway, always look at things from another point of view.

For Eye Care Awareness Month, 23 September to 18 October, participating Bril spaces are opening selected days to help raise awareness and make eye care a little more accessible, with a limited number of FREE eye tests. 💛

If you’ve never had an eye test, this is for you.

Or bring your helping hand, domestic worker, gardener, nanny, au pair or caregiver. You can also simply tell someone who could do with an eye test and a good, basic pair of glasses.

Everyone is welcome.

And if glasses are needed, together with our foundation and Visionbox, we’re making that a little easier too.

For only R650, they’ll receive a Visionbox frame with stock single vision or basic bifocal lenses. The eye test is at no charge.

Selected days and limited spaces only. Contact your nearest Bril space to find out when they’re participating and to book.

Let’s look after the people who look after us. 💛

Meeste mense het nog nooit hulle gehoor laat toets nie. Ons dink dis tyd dat ons dit “normaliseer”.

Gaan loer in by jou naaste oudioloog en doen ten minste ’n siftingstoets. Dit vat nie lank nie, maar dit is iets wat ons almal meer gereeld behoort te doen.

Visie en gehoor is ’n wonderlike geskenk. Moenie dit as vanselfsprekend aanvaar nie. 👀👂
