👁️ What is Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)?

Have you ever woken up with a red, itchy, or watery eye? It could be conjunctivitis, commonly known as pink eye.
Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the thin, transparent layer that covers the white part of your eye and the inside of your eyelids.

🔹 Common symptoms include: • Red or pink eyes
• Itching or burning
• Watery eyes
• Sticky discharge or crusting, especially in the morning
• A gritty feeling, like something is in your eye
• Sensitivity to light

🔹 What causes it? Conjunctivitis can be caused by:
🦠 Viruses
🧫 Bacteria
🌼 Allergies
🧴 Irritants such as smoke, chlorine, or chemicals

⚠️ Is it contagious? Viral and bacterial conjunctivitis can spread easily through direct contact, so it's important to:
✔️ Wash your hands regularly
✔️ Avoid touching or rubbing your eyes
✔️ Don't share towels, makeup, or eye drops
✔️ Replace eye makeup after an infection
✔️ Avoid wearing contact lenses until your eyes have healed

Most cases improve with the right care, but if you experience severe pain, blurred vision, or worsening symptoms, it's important to have your eyes examined.
💙 Healthy eyes start with knowing the signs.

👁️ Why Is My Eye Twitching?

That annoying little flutter in your eyelid is usually nothing to worry about. In fact, eye twitching is very common and often temporary.

Common causes include:
😴Fatigue or lack of sleep
☕ Too much caffeine
😰 Stress or anxiety
💻 Prolonged screen time
👀 Dry or irritated eyes
Most eye twitches disappear on their own within a few days or weeks.

🚨 When should you take eye twitching seriously?
It's a good idea to have your eyes checked if: • The twitching lasts longer than a few weeks
• Your eyelid completely closes during the twitch
• The twitch spreads to other parts of your face
• You experience redness, swelling, or discharge
• You notice changes in your vision
• The twitching is accompanied by weakness or drooping of the face

✨ In most cases, getting enough rest, reducing stress, limiting caffeine, and taking regular screen breaks can help.
Your eyes may be trying to tell you something — so listen to them.
If you're concerned about persistent eye twitching, an eye examination can help determine the cause and give you peace of mind.

👁️ Eye Health Looks Different for Everyone

There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to eye health.

Some people need glasses, others don't.
Some struggle with dry eyes, while others manage conditions like glaucoma or cataracts.
Children, adults, and seniors all have different visual needs — and that's completely normal.

✨ Your eyes are unique, and your eye care should be too.

Regular eye examinations help detect changes early, protect your vision, and ensure your eyes get the care they need at every stage of life.
Because eye health isn't about having perfect vision — it's about caring for the eyes you have.

20/05/2026

Anti-reflective coating:

Enhances visual clarity, reduces eye strain, and improves the overall appearance of your spectacles.

This advanced coating works by minimizing reflections from both the front and back surfaces of your lenses. With fewer reflections, more light is able to pass through the lenses, resulting in clearer vision and reduced visual distractions — especially in low-light or nighttime conditions.

The lenses also appear nearly invisible, allowing your eyes and facial expressions to stand out more naturally and improving eye contact.
AR coating is particularly beneficial for high-index lenses, which naturally reflect more light than standard plastic lenses. In general, the higher the lens index, the greater the amount of reflected light, making anti-reflective coating an excellent enhancement for improved comfort and clarity.

By reducing glare and halos around lights at night, anti-reflective coating helps create a more comfortable and sharper visual experience. Modern AR coatings can allow up to 99.5% of available light to pass through the lenses, optimizing vision in a wide range of lighting conditions.

In addition to enhancing vision, anti-reflective coating improves the cosmetic appearance of your glasses by eliminating unwanted reflections on the lens surface. This gives your lenses a cleaner, almost invisible look so your eyes remain the focus.

The benefits of AR-coated lenses include:

-Sharper, clearer vision
-Reduced glare and reflections
-Improved comfort during extended digital screen use
-Better night-driving visibility
-A more natural and attractive lens appearance
