Today we celebrate women — but we also remember the fight that brought us here. ❤️🇿🇦

A fight for equality. A fight for their voices to be heard, their choices to be respected, their rights to be protected, and their opportunities to be equal.

GONC honour the women who stood up, spoke out and refused to accept a world that told them they deserved less — let us all carry that fight forward for the women and girls who come after us.

There is still work to do. So today, we celebrate how far we’ve come while continuing to fight for how far we still need to go. Because when we empower women, we empower families, communities and ultimately, our nation.
