On Sunday, we had the honour of celebrating our beloved patron saint, Rainha Santa Isabel, with a truly memorable afternoon lunch at the LAR.

We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our community, with the event being fully booked and filled with warmth, friendship, and the spirit of togetherness.

A special highlight of the day was the presentation of Honorary Medals to individuals who, through their unwavering dedication, generosity, and years of service, have made exceptional contributions to the LAR. Some of these honours were awarded posthumously, ensuring that their remarkable legacies will always remain part of our history.

Our sincere thanks also go to Rancho Terras do Norte, whose beautiful performances added a wonderful touch of Portuguese tradition and culture to the celebration.

During the event, we also took the opportunity to bid a heartfelt farewell to Adido Social Paulo Valore, thanking him for his friendship, support, and commitment during his time in South Africa. We wish him every success as he embarks on the next chapter of his mission in Venezuela.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this celebration such a meaningful and unforgettable occasion. Together, we continue to honour our traditions, celebrate our community, and uphold the values of Rainha Santa Isabel.
