*BELA BILL HEARING*

There are hearings this weekend in the Western Cape about the government wanting to have a new Education Bill approved. The BELA bill.
There is a clause that affects Homeschoolers, but the rest of the Bill is shocking that the ANC wants to approve in our Schools!!!!
At the hearings there are NO parents or heads of schools who oppose the Bill. The government is once again sneaky and doing everything quietly. Bribe people and corrupt.
Please help pray for tomorrow. It's the last hearing in the Western Cape. It is our right as parents to choose for our children and protect them!
In a nutshell…
The government wants to change and approve the following things.
1. They want to decide what each school's curriculum is mainly CAPS (public, private, cottage school and homeschool) - 81% of South Africa's learners in Grade 4 cannot read with meaning!?
2. Away from governing bodies, government decides who gets selection
3. Determine the language of the schools
4. Selling alcohol at schools
5. Allowing children to get abortions from the age of 12 without consulting their parents. The school takes control of it. As well as getting vaccines without parents' knowledge
6. Close all the farm schools - they have already closed 900 rural schools for no reason
7. If there are primary schools with less than 135 learners, close them. As well as 200 learners in High Schools. Rather, they merge with larger schools. (The schools are already bursting at the seams!)
8. If you take your child out of school for any reason (emotional, bullying, religious reasons, physical abuse, special needs, curriculum) you can be sentenced to 12 months in prison as a parent.
Basically they want to push ALL children into one box without looking at their needs
9. Make all toilets unisex
10. S*x education hopelessly pushed too early on children who are just not ready yet. Plus the LGBT (etc) in work.
The minister minimizes everything. His words are very vague and leave a lot of gaps for a lot of power play and manipulation! Red lights!!!! You as a Christian parent are not going to have much of a say about your own child.
These are just a few of the things! I didn't know how serious it was until yesterday. My heart breaks for our children if this wins! Please pray for the Lord's will and His protection. Please get more people to pray if this is on your heart. 🙏🏼
Our children and our grandchildren are our future! It is our duty as parents to act for them.
