Thank you to our talented physio Ruqayya Fortune for a fun and interactive afternoon discussing concussions 🤕
Ruqayya attended the International Federations of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (IFOMPT) conference in Cape Town earlier this year and gained some incredible knowledge and skills. She then spent an afternoon teaching our team how to identify and treat concussions 👐
A key takeaway for Ruqayya from the conference was "The question shouldn't be if the technique works. It should be if it's appropriate for the patient at that point in their rehab journey."

Charlene Cattell recently attended an orthotics course hosted in Cape Town by certified hand therapist Ingrid Griesel 👐

The course focused on making static splints for hand patients with various post-operative conditions and other pathologies 🫳🖐️🫴

Bruce Barker presented an ODNS level 1 course on 22-23 February 2025. The course gave healthcare professionals the opportunity to add dry needling to their treatment techniques 💪
