A Heartfelt Farewell

It is with a heavy heart that I step away from RBO Funeral Services today.
For the past 20 years, RBO Funeral Services has been far more than a business to me—it has been my calling, my ministry, and one of the greatest privileges of my life. God entrusted me with the opportunity to serve families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives, and it has been an honour to walk alongside so many with compassion, dignity, and hope.

After much prayer, reflection, and seeking God's guidance, I have made the decision to hand RBO Aurora Funeral over to my son Henrico Erasmus, who will continue the RBO legacy.

I pray that the Lord will bless him abundantly, grant him wisdom, strength, and favour, and guide him as he leads the business into its next chapter.

To every family, friend, and member of our precious community—thank you. Thank you for your unwavering trust, your loyalty, your friendship, and for allowing me to be part of your lives over the past 20 years. The relationships we have built, the lives we have touched, and the memories we have shared are blessings that I will always carry in my heart.

Although I am stepping away, I do so with complete confidence that RBO Aurora Funeral will continue to serve our community with the same compassion, respect, integrity, and heartfelt care that have always been the foundation of our work.

’n Hartseer Afskeid.

Dit is met ’n swaar hart dat ek vandag afskeid neem van RBO Funeral Services.

Vir die afgelope 20 jaar was RBO Funeral Services vir my veel meer as net ’n besigheid—dit was my roeping, my bediening en een van die grootste voorregte van my lewe. God het my die geleentheid gegee om gesinne by te staan ​​tydens van die moeilikste oomblikke van hul lewens, en dit was ’n eer om met deernis, waardigheid en hoop saam met so baie mense hierdie pad te stap.

Na baie gebede, besinning en die soek na God se leiding, het ek besluit om RBO Aurora Funeral oor te dra aan my seun, Henrico Erasmus, wat die RBO-nalatenskap sal voortsit.

Ek bid dat die Here hom ryklik sal seën, vir hom wysheid, krag en guns sal skenk, en hom sal lei terwyl hy die besigheid na sy volgende hoofstuk neem.

Aan elke gesin, vriend en lid van ons kosbare gemeenskap—dankie. Dankie vir julle onwankelbare vertroue, lojaliteit en vriendskap, en dat julle my toegelaat het om deel te wees van julle lewens oor die afgelope 20 jaar. Die verhoudings wat ons gebou het, die lewens wat ons aangeraak het en die herinneringe wat ons gedeel het, is seëninge wat ek altyd in my hart sal koester.

Alhoewel ek nou afskeid neem, doen ek dit met die volle vertroue dat RBO Funeral Services ons gemeenskap sal bly dien met dieselfde deernis, respek, integriteit en opregte omgee wat nog altyd die grondslag van ons werk gevorm het.

Neem asseblief kennis dat alle kontakbesonderhede vir RBO Aurora Funeral onveranderd bly, en dat u steeds met die span in verbinding kan tree soos voorheen.

Terwyl ek hierdie hoofstuk afsluit, doen ek dit met ’n hart vol dankbaarheid. God se getrouheid het my deur elke stap van hierdie reis gedra, en ek weet Hy sal ook die pad vorentoe lei.
