πŸ’œ Cancer Survivor Day

At Abraham Oncology, we host this special event every year to celebrate each and every one of you β€” the newly diagnosed, those currently undergoing treatment, and those who have completed therapy. You are all survivors, and today we honor your strength, courage, and resilience.

This day is about appreciation, encouragement, and reminding one another to keep going, no matter where you are on your journey.

As part of our tradition, we release balloons together. Inspired by Balloon Theory, this symbolizes how each person can only carry so much emotional weight before reaching their limit. Every disappointment, silent sacrifice, hidden insecurity, and unspoken pain is like air slowly filling a balloon.

By releasing these balloons, we symbolically let go of the pain, fear, and sacrifices of the past and present. It is a reminder that while we have all faced challenges, we are stronger than what we have gone through.

Today, we release not only balloons, but also burdens β€” choosing hope, healing, and strength
Together, we are stronger. Together , we can do this. πŸŽˆπŸ’œ

June 7 is National Cancer Survivors Day.
What does it mean to you to call yourself a survivor?
One of the most powerful resources in cancer community is stories told by warriors and survivors. It not only inspires others but it also helps to spread awareness and support.
In observance of cancer survivor month I remind you all to
