🚨 Edibles aren’t the “safe” version of w**d. New research says they might be worse
That THC gummy after dinner feels harmless. The science says otherwise.
A 2025 UCSF study found regular edible users had a 56% drop in blood vessel function — worse than people who smoke cannabis, and on par with chronic to***co smokers.
A separate study of 430,000+ adults found daily cannabis use was linked to a 25% higher risk of heart attack and a 42% higher risk of stroke.
Add to that: mood swings, anxiety, and blunted reward circuits in the brain over time.
Edibles feel discreet. Your cardiovascular system doesn’t care how you consume it.
