Today, sadly, there is still no improvement in our precious little warrior’s condition. 💔

Scayler remains in a medically induced coma, while her little body continues to fight so incredibly hard. She is still battling the infection and fever, and right now we are holding onto our faith and praying with everything we have. 🙏🏻

Her doctors are continuing to monitor her very closely. As soon as Scayler is stable enough, they will proceed with the scheduled MRI for tomorrow

One thing we can share today is that Scayler had an EEG to monitor the electrical activity in her brain. Her medical team is also planning to do an echocardiogram (heart echo) to make sure her little heart is okay, as her heart rate continues to remain very fast.

🙏🏻 WE ARE URGENTLY ASKING EVERYONE TO PLEASE PRAY FOR SCAYLER.

Please pray for God’s healing hand to be placed over her little body. Pray that the infection begins to clear, that her fever comes down, that her heart remains strong, and that her body becomes stable enough for the doctors to safely continue with the tests they need.

Please pray for her brain, her heart, every organ and every tiny part of her body. Pray for strength where she is weak, healing where she is hurting, and protection over her through every moment of this fight.

🙏🏻 Lord, please place Your healing hands upon Scayler. Give her little body the strength to keep fighting. Surround her with Your protection and guide every doctor and nurse caring for her. Please bring healing, stability and restoration to our precious little warrior. Amen. 💗

If that’s the case you’re lucky in every single way, As the true meaning of Gold is our children who were diagnosed one day.
When I say Gold my heart it breaks,
And not for any of the above,
It breaks for little children, and to their parents I send my love.
Gold for me is cancer, awareness for a little child,
It means the same to parents who have a diagnosis for their child.
They say Childhood cancer is so rare, but it’s not too rare for me,
Families torn apart too often leaves its toll you see.

🙏🏻💗 PLEASE KEEP PRAYING FOR OUR LITTLE WARRIOR SCAYLER 💗🙏🏻

Yesterday, Scayler’s mom shared a heartbreaking update about our precious little warrior. 💔

Early yesterday morning, around 5:00 AM, Scayler went into shock as her little body continues to fight a severe infection. Her blood pressure dropped and her heart rate rose dramatically. She remains in the PICU, where she is being closely monitored and receiving stronger antibiotics, as well as medication to help control her seizures. 🙏🏻

Her MRI is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, but it will only go ahead if Scayler is stable enough. Right now, the priority is getting her stable and helping her little body fight this infection. 💗

Her mom also shared how difficult it has been watching Scayler’s little hands swell from the IV medication she desperately needs. If they struggle to maintain access, they may need to place an IV line through her scalp, which could mean cutting her hair. As heartbreaking as that would be, her health and receiving the medication she needs will always come first. 🥹💗

This has been an incredibly difficult setback for Scayler and her family, and she needs our prayers now more than ever. 🙏🏻

Please pray for:
🙏🏻 Stable blood pressure
🙏🏻 The antibiotics to fight the infection
🙏🏻 Her infection levels to come down
🙏🏻 Her seizures to remain controlled
🙏🏻 Strength for her little body
🙏🏻 That she becomes stable enough for tomorrow’s MRI
🙏🏻 Wisdom and guidance for every doctor and nurse caring for her

💗 SUNDAY PRAYER 🙏🏻🎗️

Sometimes we don’t understand why we have to walk through difficult seasons. But even when we can’t see the way forward, God is there.

Today, we pray for strength when we feel weak, peace when our hearts are anxious, and faith when the answers haven’t come yet.

May we remember that we don’t have to carry every burden ourselves. God is fighting for us, walking beside us and holding us through every difficult moment. 💗

🚨🙏🏻 URGENT PRAYER REQUEST FOR OUR LITTLE WARRIOR SCAYLER 🙏🏻🚨
📅 30 AUGUST 2026

This morning at around 5:00 AM, our precious Scayler went into shock due to the severe infection her little body is fighting. 💔 Her blood pressure dropped while her heart rate increased to around 220 beats per minute.

Scayler is still in the PICU Ward, where she is being closely monitored and receiving the care her little body desperately needs. She has been placed on stronger antibiotics to fight the infection and is currently receiving two anti-seizure medications.

Her MRI is still scheduled for Tuesday, but it will only be done if she is stable enough. Right now, getting our beautiful girl stable and helping her body fight this infection is the most important thing. 🙏🏻

One of the heartbreaking challenges at the moment is her precious little hands. 💔 They keep swelling because of the much-needed IV drips she is receiving. If this happens again and they struggle to maintain access through her hands, our precious girl’s hair may need to be cut so that an IV line can be placed through her scalp.

As heartbreaking as the thought of cutting her hair is, hair grows back. Scayler’s health and getting the medication she desperately needs will always come first. 🎗️💗

It is incredibly difficult seeing her like this. It feels as though we have taken a massive step backwards, and our hearts are hurting more than words can explain.

🙏🏻 PLEASE, PLEASE PRAY URGENTLY FOR SCAYLER.

Please pray that her blood pressure remains stable, that the stronger antibiotics begin fighting this infection quickly, that her infection levels come down, and that her seizures remain controlled.

Please pray that her little body finds the strength to keep fighting and that she becomes strong and stable enough for Tuesday’s MRI. Pray also for wisdom and guidance for every doctor and nurse caring for our precious girl.

We need an army of prayer around our beautiful little warrior right now. Please say her name in your prayers today — SCAYLER. 🙏🏻💗

Our precious little warrior is still in a medically induced coma, giving her body and brain the time they desperately need to rest and fight. 💔

🙏🏻 We are incredibly thankful that Scayler’s seizures are currently under control. This is something we are holding onto with so much gratitude during an incredibly frightening and uncertain time.

Unfortunately, her infection count is extremely high and very concerning, and she is also battling a very high fever. Her little body is fighting so incredibly hard right now.

Scayler will also be receiving a blood transfusion, and her medical team continues to monitor her very closely.

Her MRI is still scheduled for Tuesday, and we are praying with everything in us that it will give her doctors the answers they need and help guide the next steps in her care. 🙏🏻

🙏🏻 PLEASE KEEP OUR LITTLE WARRIOR IN YOUR PRAYERS.

Please pray for her fever to come down, for the infection to respond to treatment, for the blood transfusion to strengthen her little body, and for her seizures to remain under control.

Please also pray that she remains stable while in the medically induced coma, for encouraging answers from Tuesday’s MRI, and for wisdom and guidance for every doctor and nurse caring for her.

Seeing our beautiful little warrior in this condition is incredibly heartbreaking, and out of love and respect for Scayler, her dignity, and her family, we have made the decision not to share photographs of her during this time.

We know how deeply everyone cares about her and wants to see her, and we hope everyone will understand and respect this decision. We will continue sharing updates and, where possible, use some of the beautiful photographs of our little warrior from happier days. 💗

Firstly, we want to thank every single one of you for waiting so patiently for an update. 🙏🏻 Today has been an incredibly emotional and difficult day for our family, and we needed some time to process everything happening around our precious girl.

💔 Unfortunately, we have received some very concerning news.

During Wednesday night, Scayler started having seizures again. They have become more regular than they were before, which is extremely concerning and frightening for everyone.

Today, Scayler underwent another CT scan, where the doctors assessed her brain and looked for anything that could help explain what is happening.

Because of the seizures and everything her little body is going through, the medical team has made the decision to place Scayler in a medically induced coma for the next 72 hours. This is being done to protect her brain, control the stress on her body and give her little body the opportunity to rest while the doctors continue investigating and treating her. 🙏🏻💗

She has now been moved to the PQ Ward, where she can be very closely monitored.

Mommy is at the hospital with her, but heartbreakingly, she is only allowed to see Scayler for 30 minutes every three hours. 💔 Being so close to your child and yet having to wait to see and comfort her is incredibly difficult.

🧪 WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR IMPORTANT RESULTS

We are still waiting for answers from the lumbar puncture/spinal tap.

Unfortunately, we were informed that there was a problem with the labeling of the testing, which means part of it will need to be redone.

The CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) testing that was completed examines the fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. CSF can be tested for different things depending on what doctors are investigating.

However, the specific CNS assessment/testing needed to help determine whether there is involvement of Scayler’s central nervous system will need to be repeated. This is particularly important in her case because doctors need to rule out whether leukemia cells are present in or affecting the central nervous system.

We are devastated that our brave girl will have to go through another procedure, but we desperately need these answers. 💔

We are also still waiting for Scayler’s measles test results. We have been told that these particular results can take a long time to come back, so once again, we find ourselves waiting.

🙏🏻 PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR GIRL

The next 72 hours are incredibly important.

Please pray that Scayler remains stable while she is in the medically induced coma. Pray that the seizures stop, that her brain and little body are protected, and that this period of rest gives her body the strength it desperately needs.

Please pray for clear answers from every test still outstanding and for wisdom and guidance for every doctor and nurse caring for her.

And please keep Mommy, Daddy, Scayler’s siblings and the entire family in your prayers. Watching their little girl go through this and having so many unanswered questions is unbelievably difficult.

Unfortunately, things are not going well with our precious girl at the moment. 💔

Scayler has become very withdrawn and is still not communicating with anyone. She is clinging tightly with her little hands to anything she can find — her bedding, her clothes, her blanket and anything else within reach. 🥺

The social worker gave her a little ball to hold and squeeze, hoping it will give her something comforting to cling to. Seeing our normally bubbly little girl like this is incredibly difficult and worrying for everyone who loves her.

We had hoped that her MRI would be done today, but unfortunately it could not be done. It has now been scheduled for Tuesday, which means more waiting and uncertainty while we desperately hope and pray for answers. 🙏🏻

Please, please keep our little warrior in your prayers. 🙏🏻🎗️

Pray that Scayler feels safe and comforted, that she begins communicating with us again, and that the doctors are able to find answers and help our precious girl.

We are holding onto our faith, even through these incredibly difficult moments.
