Most childhood tummy bugs are caused by viruses, which means antibiotics usually aren't needed. The biggest concern is dehydration, so keeping your child well hydrated is the most important part of treatment.

💧 Remember:
• Offer small, frequent sips of an oral rehydration solution.
• Continue breastfeeding if applicable.
• Return to a normal diet as your child tolerates it.

🚨 Seek medical attention if your child is very sleepy, unable to keep fluids down, has blood in their stool, severe abdominal pain, signs of dehydration, or if you're concerned.
