Thank you East London for a really fantastic weekend! I got to spend two days with Revive Me Lounge consulting and performing minor aesthetic procedures, like Botox, Fillers and Sculptra! I also got to spend some time with my friend and fellow plastic surgeon Dr Viwe Nogaga who is based in East London and Mthatha. A definite highlight was bumping into my teacher Prof Busi Mrara, THE intensivist and anaesthetist!
Thank you so much for having me, I will be back!

On Saturday, I had the honour of being a panelist at the Icons of Africa Awards, held in Sandton. What an incredible meeting of minds and powerful people representing the continent! I got to meet and share ideas with some of the most driven, smartest people, and I loved every minute of it.
My friend, colleague and esteemed plastic surgeon was honoured on the night.
I also got to meet the late Peter Mashata’s mother. She says her son is funnier than me, with a better taste in music…
