Dear Patients
On this final day of 2025, we would like to wish all our patients a very Happy New Year. We hope that 2026 brings you everything you wish for — especially good health.
As we reflected on the year gone by, we also listened carefully to your feedback. Many of you asked, “Why can we not get an appointment?” or “Why is the practice fully booked so early in the day?” In response, we added a new consultation room a few months ago, and we are delighted to now take the next step by welcoming another doctor to our team.
It is with great pleasure that we introduce Dr Hayley Johnson to our practice. Dr Hayley is a Wits graduate and has recently relocated from Bryanston, Johannesburg, where she successfully ran her own general medical practice for 15 years. She is a mom to three teenagers, and she and her family are already enjoying being part of our beautiful valley.
Dr Hayley enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in geriatric medicine, male and female sexual health, children’s health, as well as teen wellbeing and emotional health. She will be open for bookings from 8 January.
Dr Sim returns from leave on 3 January, and Dr Riki will be back on 15 January. A heartfelt thank you goes to Dr van der Merwe and Dr Kempe for holding the fort so wonderfully over the festive season.
From 15 January, it will truly be all hands — or rather, all doctors — on deck. As we ease into the new year, we remain committed to providing you with attentive, compassionate, and accessible care.
Thank you for your continued trust and support. We look forward to walking alongside you and your families in health throughout 2026.
