The Paradigm Shift BodyTalk Do you like who you are? I work with clients to develop a thriving and happy relationship with self. Therein lies bodytalk's strength.

One of the most powerful benefits of bodytalk is the deepening of a genuine relationship with oneself. It shows us how to nurture ourselves on a deeply conscious level. After all, that relationship is the foundation of everything. If we are not connected and emotionally available to ourselves, we struggle to be connected and emotionally available to others. But, there is what we THINK we know about ourselves in our conscious mind, then there are all the misdirections and lies that pollute our subconscious and wrongly influence our behaviour towards ourselves and to others. It reveals the wrong and limiting beliefs that keep us stuck. It works with our innate wisdom to go directly to the truth of who we are and gently sets us free from outdated family and cultural imprinting, negative experiences and poor habits.

I read an Instagram post that said: “Nice girls get autoimmune diseases." I’m not saying you should stop being nice, but you owe it to yourself to address the traumas that led you to put yourself last. BodyTalk, and Fiona specifically, has profoundly impacted my life and well-being. By freeing stuck trauma energies, I have been able to face the traumas and my life again, and step into the person I am meant to be with no guilt. You won’t see immediate changes, but slowly you will recognise shifts within yourself, in your mindset, and in what you have outgrown. DO IT! Even if you don’t believe you deserve it.

Thank you Cindy for showing up for yourself over and over. It's been my privilege to be there for you.

A paradigm shift - a dramatic change in a way of thinking or behaving.

The Universe was way ahead of me when I updated the name of my business. Originally, I called it F5 Bodytalk. You know, F5... Refresh. I thought it was quite appropriate except I had to explain it far too many times.

I can't remember how I decided upon the name - The Paradigm Shift - but I do know that I wondered many times if I should have included Bodytalk somewhere in the name.
And now I find myself completely immersed in shifting people's paradigms about themselves. Who am I, how did this version of me originate and what's possible?
The joy experienced when clients get an AHA moment that completely transforms the image they hold of themselves is what it's all about and my beloved bodytalk is my powerful ally in bringing this about.

Imagine seeing yourself clearly for the first time and loving who that person is and what they are becoming. You deserve this.

I have two questions for you. Don't just read and skip past. Really give them a moment to sink in. They are fundamental to a happy life.

Who am I? (Not who I think I am or what I think society expects)

What do I actually want? (What do I have a burning desire for, have an obsession for)

The questions aren't as simple as they look.

If you want to delve deeper, let's have a conversation.

One of the side effects of bodytalk, is that people end up being kinder to themselves.

You're probably not surprised by how many people constantly berate themselves, judge themselves, put themselves down internally and externally. (Could this be you?)

It's an incredibly destructive pattern that causes the body to contract at cellular level. Think of it as shrinking backwards like a frightened animal. Yet people really struggle to change this behaviour.

What I find, with bodytalk as the mechanism, people gain a much deeper understanding of who they are and how they got there. They're able to get a perspective that has eluded them. And once they understand, they are able to be more forgiving towards themselves.

And that creates momentum.

It's tough at the beginning and I encourage my clients to catch themselves in negative self talk and immediately counter it by rephrasing it more gently.
For example, if they say: "How could you be so stupid!" they could counter it by saying: "I'm not stupid, I just made a mistake. There's nothing wrong in that."

And in time, the old ways soften and lose their grip. The kind and more compassionate version of themselves that emerges, is expansive and capable of significant growth.

Each and every one of you deserves kindness - give yourselves grace to receive it.

I've been athletic and sporty my entire life, but then something changed.

I went from canoeing, cycling and adventure racing – to not being able to even lift up the kettle.

Five months is how quickly my life went from feeling familiar to becoming almost unrecognisable. I began to suffer from terrible pain and inflammation, in addition to feeling as though I'd lost my entire identity. I feared I might never exercise again. I began to question everything I thought I knew about myself.

My journey back to wellness wasn't just physical. Through inner work and BodyTalk, I began uncovering the beliefs I was holding on to, the needs I was ignoring and the things that I should never have been carrying in the first place.

I'm sharing my story in a blog – I hope you'll read it to find out what I discovered about the mind-body connection, self-worth and what happens when we finally start listening to ourselves.

What's really self-defeating is this notion that we can change or improve our circumstances without investing in ourselves. What do I mean?
We spend so much time, energy and money trying to change things out there. We think that if our relationship/job/bank account/health (add your own) improves, we will feel happy, relaxed and in control of our lives.
Our emotional state becomes dependent on things outside of us and most often, things over which we have no control.

Newsflash - if you master yourself, your attitudes, your responses by investing in your inner world, everything else has to follow. The greatest influence you can have on your life is how you show up for it.
Forget blaming the boss, the genetics, the country or whatever. Those don't create your identity or your success profile.

Figure out who you are deep within, without the stories, beliefs, conditioning and patterns. When you know yourself and find kindness for yourself, it's a funny thing. You begin to believe in yourself and your capabilities and that ripples out into the world and creates the change for you.

If you're looking for meaningful change, let's chat.

(to be clear, the pic is AI - not the content)

One of the themes I've noticed with clients is how focused they are on what they don't want. This could be directed at an aspect of their life or the entire thing. They've reached a point where it's 'no more'.
Knowing what you don't want is often the key in deciding to change. But many people get stuck here as all their energy and attention gets sucked into what they don't want. And of course, like a magnet, they keep getting what they don't want.

Imagine taking all that energy and putting it into what you do want.

But again, here's the thing. If you were to ask yourself - what do I want - do you know what it is? Does your whole body lean into a powerful drive and need for this life or thing that you want? Or does it feel vague, a dream or even, no idea at all of what you want?

Sometimes, it may be that what you really want - is to know what you really want.

And for that, you have to clear away the patterns, emotional triggers and limiting beliefs so you can see and believe in a different future. It's powerful stuff and so liberating.

The thing about people who reach the gatvol stage, is that they're often focused on the wrong thing. I'm gatvol at always being in debt, I'm gatvol at being responsible for everyone, I'm gatvol with this job.

The question they should be asking is: what is it about me that keeps me stuck in this loop? What beliefs or conditioning do I hold about money or family or responsibility?

Most can't answer that straight away but when we've had enough, the decision to change is made and the growth can begin.

Bodytalk can help with the clarity needed to move forward and to release the old you so that the new you can emerge.

Isn't that a better space to be in?

The body doesn’t speak English or any other language.

It speaks in sensations, symptoms, posture, energy.

BodyTalk helps translate that language, so you can understand what your system is trying to say… and what it needs to heal.

Let me help you have a conversation with your body. It will love you even more for that.
