Hi, can anyone else relate to this? 😅☕📚
Those half past nine at night moments where you’re surrounded by paper, printers, scissors, coffee cups, and a brain that feels completely DONE.
Today was one of those days.
Preparing workbooks.
Sorting worksheets.
Printing.
Cutting.
Organising everything for my upcoming CONNECTED & CONFIDENT workshop.
Creating PERSONALISED strength handouts aligned to each person’s age, stage of life, and personal choices.
And creating creative reflection cards between parents and adolescents to help them see each other not just for the roles they play every day, but for their STRENGTHS, their HEART, and the unique VALUE they each bring to one another ❤️
And somewhere in between all of that, you have those moments where you think… “Why do I put SO much into this?” 😂
But I honestly think creating a workshop is a form of ART.
It’s taking information and slowly shaping it into something people can FEEL, not just hear.
It’s taking neuroscience, psychology, creativity, stories, strengths, emotions, and conversations, and weaving them together in a way that hopefully helps someone feel more CONNECTED, more CONFIDENT, and more UNDERSTOOD. 🌱
It’s a bit like taking a piece of wood and CRAFTING something meaningful from it 🪵
Or taking a block of marble and slowly shaping it into something beautiful, piece by piece.
Most people only see the final workshop.
But behind it are HOURS of thinking, adjusting, rewriting, designing, personalising, second-guessing… and genuinely caring deeply about every little detail.
And yet, when the workshop finally begins and you see people connecting, laughing, opening up, and having those little lightbulb moments ✨
You suddenly remember EXACTLY why you do it.
So tell me honestly… can anyone else relate to this?
And how do YOU keep going when you’re tired, overwhelmed, and questioning it all? 🌿
