To every young healer and young sangoma, I want to encourage you.I know there are times when you question yourself and wonder if your ancestors are no longer with you because things have become slow. Please don't be too hard on yourself.
This journey is seasonal. There are seasons when everything flows, and there are seasons when things are quiet. Today it may be your season to flourish, and tomorrow it may be someone else's. Don't compare yourself or become discouraged.
Be patient. Don't be greedy for quick results. Continue to phahla, continue to pray, and trust the process.
Always remember, you're not working through magic. You are serving through your ancestors, with God guiding your path. Stay humble, stay faithful, and keep your heart pure. Your season will come again.And please, stop running from place to place seeking help because you think you've done something wrong to your ancestors. Most of the time, that's not the case.
You haven't necessarily done anything wrong. This journey has ups and downs for everyone. There are seasons of abundance and seasons of waiting. Stay patient, continue to phahla, keep praying, and trust the process. Your season will come again.
