For the past 10 years, Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital has been restoring the gift of hearing through its Cochlear Implant Programme, performing more than 300 life-changing cochlear implant procedures.

Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with About Sound, additional funding has been secured to support cochlear implant procedures, enabling more patients to access this life-changing intervention.
