Interestingly, a pilot study that was published in the Journal of Energy Psychology: Theory, Research and Treatment, explored the effects of a single 90 minute Access Bars session on participants with anxiety and depression symptoms. Using standardised questionnaires and quantitative electroencephalogram (QEEG) brain mapping, researchers found that anxiety symptoms reduced on average by 84.7 percent, while depression scores reduced by 82.7 percent after the session. Brainwave measurements showed a rise in coherence between brain regions, which is associated with improved neural communication and emotional regulation.
