At Stellenbosch Hospice, our Inpatient Care Unit is designed to provide a warm,
safe, and peaceful environment for our patients. It features:

🏠 Two private single rooms with their own verandahs
🛏️ One six-bed ward and one four-bed ward
🌿 Some rooms overlook our shaded Peace Garden, complete with a wheelchair accessible trail and benches - a serene space for patients to spend time with their loved ones

Here, every detail is focused on comfort, dignity, and quality care, ensuring our
patients feel supported and at peace during their stay. 💙

Not all patients at Stellenbosch Hospice are living with life-limiting conditions. Some
palliative care patients are admitted for symptom management or respite, while others
come from Stellenbosch Hospital for rehabilitation or step-down care before returning
home.

Every patient is supported by our dedicated team of professional nurses and carers,
ensuring comfort, dignity, and attentive care. We’re also grateful to the volunteer
doctors from the Stellenbosch community, who lend their expertise to help manage
complex medical needs for our palliative care patients.

At Stellenbosch Hospice, every patient matters, and every moment counts. 💙
