Over the past few years, severe droughts have dramatically reduced the availability of genuine Rose Geranium essential oil.

Traditional producing regions such as Egypt, South Africa and Madagascar experienced exceptionally poor harvests, leaving the global market with very limited supplies.

In South Africa, only a small quantity became available around October last year—and at a significantly higher price.
As the supply of authentic Rose Geranium declined, lower-cost synthetic fragrance alternatives became increasingly common in the marketplace.

At Ylang Leanne the stock is getting a bit low, but I remain committed to only using 100% pure, authentic Rose Geranium Essential oil from trusted growers.

Especially the specific specie you know to have the full especially rosy aroma, so you can experience the therapeutic qualities you know and trust 🌸

Or should I say oil of the year? 🐪🐫

I am always amazed by the many different ways my clients use Frankincense from brain fog and headaches to skincare, respiratory support, and helping improve the appearance of acne and scars.

It is definitely an oil that deserves a place in every natural skincare kit.

I always have Franki in my facial skincare oil and in my hydrator. Personally I like pairing it with Myrrh (double resin power) and then I alternate between Rose, Blue Tansy (redness relief), Immortelle (L'Octaiine secret) and Chamomile.

My next blend I want to mix it up a bit with the new Food Grade Vanilla absolute, Frankincense Carterri and Ylang Ylang 😋🍦🐫

Which one do you prefer: Frankincense Serrata or Frankincense Carterii, and what do you like to pair it with?

Where it all started 👃

The creation of 5 signature scents🪻 for intentional and special purpose candles.

These are more than just candles. Each one is an artwork decorated by hand with wax images that are symbols of the intention.

Our job help create a unique aroma tha fit the purpose, the colours, the symbols and the intention of the candle.

More than 70 different oils🌱🌷🌸🪻🍋 🍊were smelled. Three to four combinations were chosen for each candle type.

The flowers may capture our attention, but the roots remind us how to stay connected.🫚

When the mind is scattered, it can be worth looking beneath the soil.🌱👀

Roots and rhizomes are the plant's foundation. They anchor, store, nourish, and connect. Unsurprisingly, many root oils share these qualities in aromatherapy.👃

One of my favourite blending techniques to balance the elements is to include a small amount of a root or wood oil in a blend.

Just 1–3 drops💦 can add depth, longevity, and a sense of stability that floral and citrus oils often lack on their own.

Bringing the Wisdom of the Roots into Your Blends:

🤎 Lavender + Vetiver + Frankincense
For a busy mind and a grounded sense of calm.

🤎 Chamomile + Valerian
For evening relaxation and a peaceful transition into sleep.

I won!!!! 🎊🪅🥳🎉

My first time ever winning a lucky draw 😝😋🥰

I was first drawn to this brand at the expo because they had activated nuts and seeds.

Activating (soaking/sprouting) helps reduce the natural compounds that keep the seed dormant, making nutrients easier to absorb and often gentler on digestion 🌱

What makes them even more special is that they process their own cacao beans, which means they can preserve more of the beautiful compounds like PEA aka the "love chemical" that make "ceremonial cacao" feel so special 🤎

Since I’m sensitive to high amounts of theobromine, Chloé actually got herself a wheel of 100% cacao to try, and it was a win!

I haven’t tried everything yet, but I’ve already changed my favourite twice… the cacao florentine 🍊 WOW WOW. You need to try this!

I also can’t wait to try the healthy sea vegetable snacks! 😍

Happy Mother’s Day to all the many kinds of mothers in this world 🤍🌸

This is my second year in the 6th category (swipe to the second page 🥹), and what a transformative journey it has been.

Every day brings new, beautiful little moments I want to hold on forever… while at the same time, quietly saying goodbye to stages that have now become precious memories. Motherhood has such a tender way of stretching your heart in all directions possible. 🤍

And today, I’m thinking of all mother archetypes — the fur mothers, godmothers, stepmothers, adoptive mothers, grandmothers, those longing to be mothers, mothers in heaven, fathers who have had to mother, community mothers, fathers who had to become mothers, and every nurturing soul who holds that sacred energy in some way.

I hope you feel deeply blessed, seen, and appreciated in whichever mother archetype you find yourself in 🌿✨

Have you ever smelled TRUE cinnamon essential oil?

It’s surprisingly hard to find — and even harder to forget.

It’s rare, because most “cinnamon” isn’t actually this.
The difference lies in the species, the part of the plant, and the chemistry behind it.

Luckily you don't need a lot...just a single drop in a blend brings that distinctive sweet & spicy smell.

A must have in your collection!

Doing what we love most!!! Off course we had to stop at every stall to have a loooooong chit chat, a taste, a sip and a buy🛍

Off course we also had to fit all of the clothes there! 💃.lifestyle

Met new like minded friends, and only made it half way through, in a whole day 🤭

Next time we will have to do the other half!
