It is the question I get asked the most. And as a Somatologist, here is what I want you to know.

It is not just about the ingredient. It is about the delivery system.

Retail products are formulated to sit on the surface of the skin. They have to be — they are mass-produced for the general public, so they are legally required to be mild enough not to cause reactions.
