"What Have They Been Up To?" with the lovely
Life update ✨
I still absolutely love living in Umhlanga, sho, it really is such a spectacular place, with some of the best weather in the world.
This year I tried something new: ocean swimming. It’s been an absolute blast, and I wish more people knew the magic of it, a long swim in the sea, goggles on, on a clear morning with the sun coming up… completely unmatched. I’ve been slacking a bit lately as the weather turns a bit cooler (Living in Durban has made me soft!) but hopefully I’ll be brave again soon 😅
I’m still loving running too. Big shoutout to Runboss and the running pals who hold me accountable to those crack-of-dawn sunrise runs.
Aimée, the giant bouvier/real-life teddy, continues to bring so much joy. Jovi, the sweet yellow lab, still takes up most of my camera roll with all her funny couch positions.
It’s been wedding season, which has been such a joy, so special seeing your mates get married and start new chapters. My brother also got married earlier this year, which was a huge joy for our family, and I got myself a sista!
Jono is back in South Africa permanently! So stoked to not be doing long distance anymore!
I’m loving being involved with youth at church. Sho, I love the teens, and it’s such a privilege watching them grow closer to Jesus.
Masters is still going, but the finish line is in sight! Submitting in the next few months! It’s been a privilege, but I’ll also be so relieved when it’s handed in 😉
Lots of adventures too: hiking in Cape Town, and spending the night in the Ranger stuck in the mud in Zambia 😂
And through it all, God has been so kind and faithful, gently teaching me to love the people around me as best as I can. Thank goodness for Jesus and His grace. 🤍
