Using the right medicine is only part of the picture. Using it correctly matters too.

Many people don't realise that inhaler technique can affect how much medicine reaches the lungs.

If you're unsure whether you're using your inhaler correctly, ask your pharmacist. A simple demonstration can make a meaningful difference.

Pain relief works best when it's used safely.

Different types of pain respond to different medicines, and some pain relievers aren't suitable for everyone.

If you're unsure which option is right for you, your pharmacist can help you choose the most appropriate treatment for your needs.

When antibiotics are prescribed, using them correctly matters.

Taking the full course, avoiding missed doses and never sharing antibiotics all help protect your health and reduce antibiotic resistance.

If you have questions about your medication or aren't sure how to take it, ask your pharmacist. Understanding your treatment is an important part of better health.

Better health decisions start with better understanding.

If you're starting a new medicine, speak to one of our pharmacists.

We're here to help.

Starting a new medicine can feel overwhelming.

Whether it's a new prescription, a long-term treatment or antibiotics for the first time, it's normal to feel uncertain.

Knowing when to take it, what to expect and what to watch for can make all the difference.

Health support starts with understanding your treatment.

Because confidence is part of good healthcare.

Not every cough, sore throat or fever needs antibiotics.

Colds and flu are caused by viruses, which means antibiotics won't help them get better. Rest, fluids and the right symptom relief are often the best place to start.

If you're unsure whether your symptoms need medical attention or which treatment is right for you, speak to your pharmacist. We're here to help you make informed, confident health decisions.

Questions often come after you've left the consultation room.

That's why our pharmacists are here to help you understand your treatment and make confident health decisions—before, during and after your visit.

Ask Your Pharmacist.

The consultation is over. Your questions don't have to be.

Many people leave a consultation only to think of the questions afterwards.

"Can I take this with my other medication?"

"What if I miss a dose?"

"Is this side effect normal?"

Those questions matter.

At Day-Nite Pharmacy, we believe support doesn't end when you leave the consultation room. Understanding your treatment is an important part of making better health decisions.

We're looking forward to welcoming you as usual tomorrow.

To keep our team safe, we've made a few temporary operational adjustments for Tuesday, 30 June.

Our pharmacies will be open and trading as normal. All non-essential staff will be working remotely, and our delivery service will be suspended for the day.

We've also confirmed availability with our key suppliers and, at this stage, trading and services will continue as usual.

If anything changes, we'll keep you updated here.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Please take care and stay safe.

PHARMACY THEN & NOW

There was a time when cough syrups commonly contained morphine and other opium-derived ingredients.

At the time, these medicines were widely accepted and prescribed. Today, we understand far more about the risks of dependence, respiratory depression and medication safety.

It's a reminder that medicine is constantly evolving as new research and evidence emerge.

What remains unchanged is the important role of healthcare professionals in helping patients make informed decisions about their health and treatment.

Because while medicine changes, the need for trusted advice does not.

Community pharmacies have always been about more than dispensing medication.

They are built on relationships, trust and continuity of care.

Over time, pharmacists come to know the people and families they serve. They answer questions, provide guidance, support long-term health journeys and help patients navigate the complexities of modern healthcare.

In an increasingly fast-paced world, we believe healthcare should remain personal.

Because every patient is more than a prescription.
